Weather today was just perfect, with clear skies, flat seas, and sunny. We had an outstanding day of fishing. We caught limits of Yellowfin and Yellowtail for all aboard.
Most of the Yellowfin were in the 18 to 30 pound range, and some in the 12 to 18 pound range. We did release many fish in the 8 to 10 pound catogory. The Yellowtail were in the 18 to 25 pound range, with a few going over 30 pounds. There was a sign of Wahoo, but the only one we hooked, broke off at color.
It was just a perfect day aboard the Royal Polaris, good food, good fishing, and great people. We will travel south, and try our luck in another area. So with that note, wish us luck and we will keep you posted on our daily evetns. The R/p crew.

We all make different goals for ourselves that are sometimes hard to achieve. Our realistic goal for this day and a half trip was for everybody to go home with one quality tuna fish. The morning was beautiful with absolutely no wind, but unfortunately we also had very slow fishing. Our grey bite (which has been essential to the past couple of day's success) was nonexistent, starting us out behind the eight ball. Tension and stress level was at an all time high until about eleven o'clock when we finally found one that wanted to bite. We had great fishing on 20-35lb yellowfin tuna along with some bonus albacore. We ended up the day with 75 yellowfin tuna and 16 albacore.
Today's pictures include Lloyd Cotton showing off our first fish of the day and one of our father/daughter teams, Rick and Amanda, with a "fatso" albacore!

Weather today was excellent, with flat seas, overcast skies. Excellent traveling weather. Billy started his seminar this morning at 08:30 hour, then the crew went to work. After everyone was finished, the passenger sat down to a few games of porker, while other watched baseball on TV.
We made a few stops for Yellowtail, but we found no biters. We are continuing our travels south, and we should start fishing tomorrow morning around 08:30 hours. So until tomorrow, wish us luck. The R/p crew.

Today we had a beautiful morning on cow yellow. The fish was twenty five to thirty five pounds with a few better ones. The afternoon was slow. We had no conditions and the water was a degree and a half cooler. We saw plenty of fish they just didn't want to bite. All the folks are happy and we are hopping to catch some tuna tomorrow offshore.
